Job Description
LifeMD Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to join their growing team in Lancaster, PA. The role involves participating in commercial pharmacy dispensing, preparing customized non-sterile compounded medications, and ensuring full compliance with USP standards. Comprehensive hands-on training and mentorship are provided to help the pharmacist build a rewarding career in non-sterile compounding pharmacy.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited institution
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing (or eligible for licensure prior to start date)
- Strong foundational knowledge of pharmaceutics, pharmacology, and pharmaceutical calculations
- Ability to stand for extended periods during compounding activities
- Manual dexterity to handle compounding equipment, measuring devices, and small quantities of ingredients
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds (ingredient containers, supplies)
- Visual acuity for reading prescriptions, measuring volumes, and inspecting compounded preparations
