The General Ledger Accountant performs a variety of routine and non-routine accounting functions with significant focus on General Ledger accounting, including preparing monthly journal entries, supporting balance sheet preparation, and maintaining fixed assets tracking processes.
Requirements
- Prepare monthly journal entries such as payroll, benefits, accruals, expense allocations, and revenues.
- Support with balance sheet preparation and monthly account reconciliation.
- Maintain and update fixed assets tracking processes.
- Support in continuous improvement processes as it relates to financials.
- Support in all aspects of financial/tax return preparation.
- Support plant controller with other duties as assigned.
