Job Description
Linamar is seeking a Controls Technician for their Avilla, IN facility. The role involves maintaining automated control systems in a high-volume CNC machining environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair, training, and research. The position is part of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Assist engineering and operations team
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical control systems
- Train plant personnel
- Troubleshoot down equipment
- Resolve machine and conveyor problems
- Analyze and resolve machine and conveyor problems
- Perform other duties as required by the supervisor
- Participate in all equipment runs
- Maintain quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Participate in all equipment run-offs
- Read blueprints and schematics
