Electrician

The Electrician position, subject to limited direction, focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial electrical equipment. This role includes interpreting blueprints and electrical codes, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment safety and functionality. The position might also involve work on electrical transmission lines and machinery.

Requirements

• Completion of secondary school or equivalent general education.
• Minimum three years electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Basic knowledge of industrial maintenance and comprehension of inverters and frequency drives.
• Prior preventative maintenance experience with a thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code.
• Demonstrate understanding and follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and general electrical safety.
