Job Description
Lincoln Electric is seeking a Controls Engineer to work in a team environment on capital and strategic projects for the Cleveland Operation production facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the electrical aspects of the projects including hardware design, software design, design documentation, networking, data acquisition, equipment installation, equipment debug, and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience (Engineer II) or 5 years of experience (Engineer III)
- Strong desire to take ownership and drive results
- Good judgment, self-motivation, and safety consciousness
- Ability to handle a variety of assignments and changing priorities
- Ability to perform hands-on work and work effectively on the shop floor
- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, 70E, NFPA 79, and other technical codes
- Experience with National Instruments LabVIEW and Rockwell Automation RSLogix software
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers and AC drives
- Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation CAD software
