Job Description
Sentry Equipment is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems for conveyor systems and automated machines. The role requires a strong understanding of control systems, electrical engineering principles, and hands-on experience with industrial automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Controls or Electrical Engineering preferred
- Five (5) or more year’s experience in a similar or related role
- Proven experience in designing and implementing electrical control systems
- Proficiency in programming PLCs (Primarily Allen-Bradley, etc.) and HMIs
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
- Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
