Job Description
We are seeking a Controls Engineer to contribute to the success of our company by designing, coding, and testing control systems for pressure sensitive labelers and integrated labeling systems. The role involves developing and maintaining control system designs, schematics, and BOMs, as well as providing technical support for FATs, on-site installation, and after-sales support.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering (Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred)
- 5+ years of Controls Engineering experience
- Strong PLC programming skills (Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Keyence, Panasonic, others)
- Proficient in RsLogix/Studio5000, AutoCAD, MS Office, FactoryTalk View
- Experience with Vision Systems (e.g. Cognex) a plus
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Experience controlling sensors, actuators, pneumatics, stepper/servo motors, VFD drives
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of NEC, UL, NEMA, CE, NFPA 79, PMMI, and relevant ISO/EN standard
