Job Description
Join ProMach as a Controls Engineer and contribute to the success of the company by designing, coding, and testing control systems for pressure sensitive labelers and integrated labeling systems. Develop and maintain control system designs, schematics, and BOMs for pressure sensitive labeling systems, and work with panel shop technicians to ensure that assembly, wiring, installation, and operation of control panels and electrical systems conform to quality standards, applicable codes, and customer requirements.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering (Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred)
- 5+ years of Controls Engineering experience
- Strong PLC programming skills (Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Keyence, Panasonic, others)
- Proficient in RsLogix/Studio5000, AutoCAD, MS Office, FactoryTalk View
- Experience with Vision Systems (e.g. Cognex) a plus
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Experience controlling sensors, actuators, pneumatics, stepper/servo motors, VFD drives
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of NEC, UL, NEMA, CE, NFPA 79, PMMI, and relevant ISO/EN standard
