Job Description
Lincoln Electric is seeking a Machinist to operate various machines in the manufacturing of welding solutions, automation systems, and related equipment. The role involves operating, maintaining, and improving machining operations, ensuring quality and safety, and adhering to operational standards. Requirements
- Determine machine settings
- Calculate where to cut or bore
- Shape steel, aluminum, titanium, plastic, silicon and other materials
- Monitor and control feed rate and speed
- Ensure work piece is properly lubricated and/or cooled
- Adjust cutting speed to compensate for harmonic vibrations
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures
- Maintain continuity among work shifts
- Document actions and communicate to management
