Job Description
Lincoln Electric is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Designer to join their Weld Systems team in Shelby Township, MI. The role involves designing and developing mechanical systems for automated welding equipment, focusing on precision, performance, and manufacturability. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ year of design/layout experience
- Experience designing MIG and/or resistance weld machines (preferred)
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar) and 2D AutoCAD
- Strong grasp of manufacturing principles, materials, and design best practices
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations
- Team-oriented mindset
