Job Description
The Panel Build Technician is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing industrial electrical control panels and electronic subassemblies used in industrial systems.
Requirements
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels following schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
- Mount, connect, and secure electrical/electronic components.
- Conduct continuity, functional, and safety checks on completed assemblies.
- Inspect work for quality and labeling accuracy
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and BOMs; maintain as-built documentation.
- Operate hand tools and power tools (drills, strippers, crimpers, torque tools).
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and QA inspectors to resolve build discrepancies.
- Support material handling, receiving, kitting, and general shop activities when needed.
