Job Description
The Building Engineer is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all building systems, operating the building efficiently, and providing tenant services. They will perform various tasks such as installing, fabricating, and repairing complex mechanical and electrical equipment, inspecting areas of the building, and reporting deficiencies. They will also work independently with minimal supervision and provide technical support to the Chief/Lead Engineer or Operations Manager.
Requirements
- Comprehensive training and certification in HVAC or Operation Engineering Technologies and/ or equivalent job-related training and experience
- Licenses(s) for applicable jurisdiction and equipment
- CFC Training and certification for the type of equipment serviced
- Minimum of 4 years of field experience
- Continuing education in field
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills necessary to operate Building Automation Systems
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and NFC codes and regulations
