Assistant Coach, Women's Basketball

The assistant coach helps the head coach with all activities of the designated program, including but not limited to recruitment and retention of student-athletes; monitoring of student-athletes’ academic progress; striving for competitive success; management of budget; and ensuring the program’s compliance with University, Conference, and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) guidelines.

Requirements

• Prioritize and promote student-athlete academic achievement
• Identify, evaluate, and recruit student-athletes for success at Lindenwood University
• Impart fundamental philosophy, skills, and knowledge essential to the sport
• Produce a high-performing team capable of meeting and maintaining competitive expectations
• Maintain current knowledge of and adhere to policies, procedures, bylaws, regulations, and rules
• Support the head coach by operating a fiscally responsible program and providing leadership for the team’s fundraising activities and program advancement initiatives
