Welding Technician I

Welding Technician I at Lindsay Corporation's Lindsay, NE facility. Responsible for wire welding on metals and alloys, spot welding operations, and preparing fabricated products for assembly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
• Must be able to pass a weld test
• Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Deftness and attention to detail
• Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
