Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Operator to join our dedicated team. In this role, you’ll support building maintenance and ammonia refrigeration systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of maintenance experience preferred
- Experience with ice plant operations or ammonia refrigeration (certification preferred)
- 4th Class Power Engineer certificate is an asset
- Trade school courses or experience in building, material handling, or refrigeration maintenance an asset
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills; able to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work in cold storage environments (-20°F/-25°C) and warm dry storage (up to 100°F/37°C) with provided PPE
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
