Ammonia Refrigeration Technician

Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems as instructed by leadership while following regulatory and company safety standards.

Requirements

• 3 years mechanical experience maintaining motorized lifts and equipment, warehouse, processing, and/or manufacturing equipment or combination of experience and trade school.
• 2 years industrial refrigeration experience (ammonia) or combination of experience and trade school
• Successful completion of Refrigeration Operator 1 course and/or (CARO) or equivalent within 6 months of hire is the goal
• Basic electrical instrumentation experience
• Basic ability to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
• Proficient computer skills including Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
