Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to help provide reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment. The role involves diagnosing and resolving equipment failures, carrying out scheduled maintenance tasks, monitoring and maintaining coldstore systems, and supporting the wider team in working together to solve problems.

Requirements

• Recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ONC/HNC or equivalent)
• Proven hands-on experience in a maintenance role, ideally with refrigeration experience and mobile racking
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across mechanical and electrical systems
• Familiarity with food safety standards, health & safety legislation, and maintenance best practices
• Effective communicator in English with a proactive and adaptable approach
