Job Description
Our client is a global hedge fund in Midtown Manhattan seeking a full-time Ops Risk Reporting and Data Analytics professional to monitor key risk and performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions. The successful candidate must have 2-5 years of Operations or Middle Office experience, knowledge of Core Ops, and strong data mining/analytics/reporting background.
Requirements
- Monitor Key Risk & Performance Indicators through daily break & exception reports
- Work with the respective managers of the impacted areas to address potential risk
- Identify areas for improvement and work with individual groups to implement solutions
- Identify new ways to detect and manage risk (i.e. new metrics & reports, process surveillance mechanisms, etc.)
- Contribute to or lead various projects that may arise out of the aforementioned activities
- Support all product types (but not required to have grasp of all)
