Product Manager, Clinical Instrument and FlowJo

Role Overview

Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies and marketing plans for BD's Clinical Instrument and FlowJo product lines in the Japanese market, balancing global strategies with local market needs to drive business growth.

What You Will Do

Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify new business opportunities and unmet needs, and reflect them in product development and marketing initiatives. Manage the entire product lifecycle, forecasting, pricing, promotion, and inventory management.

Serve as the primary point of contact for Japanese market and global R&D and marketing teams, advocating local needs and contributing to global strategies. Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, customers, and industry partners, collecting insights to drive BD Solutions forward.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (biology, biomedical engineering, clinical laboratory science, etc.)
• At least 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or related commercial roles in the medical device, diagnostics, or life sciences industries
• Experience with flow cytometry instruments or FlowJo software is welcome
• Proven track record in developing and executing product strategies and marketing plans
• High analytical skills to analyze market data, financial metrics, and customer feedback
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to lead stakeholders within and outside the company
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and ownership-oriented individual who can execute tasks with a sense of responsibility
