Job Description
We are recruiting for a General Ledger Specialist role in our Warsaw office. The successful candidate will perform month-end close activities, prepare bank reconciliations, and maintain fixed asset registers. The role requires a strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent working relationships with finance and shared service staff.
Requirements
- Calculate, prepare and post specific and ad-hoc journal entries as part of Month End Close and day to day operations
- Prepare Bank Reconciliations and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations (Assets and Liability accounts)
- Maintain Fixed Asset Registers and calculate and post monthly depreciation charges
- Responsible for performing Month End Close activities, in line with global and office specific policies
- Ensure that service quality is maintained in performing daily operations within global General Ledger Department
- Build excellent working relationships with the Finance and Shared Service staff in the local offices
- Maintain high quality process documentation
