Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Director, Business & Legal Affairs in its Acquisitions and Co-Productions team.

Requirements

• Negotiate and draft acquisition, co-production, co-finance, output and first-look agreements
• Review, analyze and comment on rights agreements, participation statements, security agreements, talent agreements, credit statements, marketing materials, legal clearances, music licenses, billing blocks, chain of title and all other delivery documentation
• Interact and advise strategic business and planning teams, participations, marketing, delivery and rights management
• Analyze legal risks and develop solutions to mitigate potential challenges
• Performing other day-to-day business affairs-related and legal tasks as needed and assigned by the department head
