Liquid Personnel is looking for a capable and experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join the Adult Mental Health Team in Slough. The successful candidate will undertake mental health assessments, care and support planning, and crisis intervention, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
Requirements
- Professional Qualification: A recognised qualification in social work (MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW)
- Registration: Registered with Social Work England
- Experience: At least one year of post-qualification experience in a mental health setting
- Knowledge of Legislation: Strong understanding of the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended in 2007), the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Care Act 2014
- Skills: Excellent communication, assessment, and risk management skills; comfortable working under pressure
- Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for community-based work
