Engine Design Engineer

We are seeking an Engine Design Engineer to join our growing team at LiquidPiston. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing groundbreaking engine systems and components, from initial concept through prototyping, validation, and production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, analyze, and optimize high-performance subsystems with a focus on efficiency, weight, durability, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define system and component-level requirements
• Design, package, and integrate components into the complete engine assembly
• Conduct feasibility studies and tradeoff analyses; develop conceptual and detailed designs for engine subsystems
