Job Description
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Team Lead provides support and assistance with all aspects of financial accounting of the assigned business unit, ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded, compliance with regulations, and effective team management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years' of experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a similar supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to demonstrate logical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Able to exercise sound judgment, is self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize key requirements in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Must be able to read, write and speak/understand English fluently
