Job Description
The Library Assistant position is responsible for delivering quality customer service, performing circulation services, and providing general information inquiries. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and six months of customer service experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of customer service experience
- Familiarity with public libraries and Integrated Library System (PINES preferred)
- Valid driver's license and insurability
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk for long distances
