Software Development Engineer III - Node JS/ Python

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Conversational AI team at LivePerson, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of AI-driven customer experiences. You will join the group responsible for our LLM Platform, Copilot products, and Knowledge AI services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithm Design
• Deep proficiency in Node.js (for high-concurrency orchestration and backend services) AND Python (for AI/ML logic and data processing)
• Practical experience building applications utilizing LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and Vector Databases.
• Expert-level knowledge of Databases (SQL, NoSQL) like Cassandra, MySQL
• Experience with Data Processing frameworks like Kafka, Airflow, Apache Spark, Hadoop
• Experience building REST APIs and debugging distributed microservice-based applications
• Experience in Kubernetes
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, and other Development tools
• Cloud expertise in either Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
