Data Engineer

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data Team, building complex, scalable systems that power our data strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to tackle the challenge of optimising our data platforms for real-time AI/ML workloads, mentor junior engineers, and make a significant impact on our business.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in a core programming language like Python, Java, or Scala, with an emphasis on AI/ML data processing
• Experience with cloud data services and technologies, ideally within the GCP ecosystem (e.g., Dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Vertex AI)
• Experience with Airflow environment management and Docker
• Designing and optimising both real-time and large-scale batch data processing frameworks
• Deploying and maintaining data infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like Terraform
• Applying data governance, privacy, and security best practices in a regulated environment
