Furniture Repair Technician 1

The Furniture Repair Technician 1 repairs, restores, and inspects merchandise that has been damaged or has manufacturer defects. Will work inside the shop or on the dock ensuring outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.

Requirements

• Identify repair needed and follow standard operating procedures to repair based upon the need
• Demonstrate proficiency in repairing at least one of the following: Upholstery / Leather products, Wood / case goods
• Achieve 80% restock to first quality
• Identify proper quality disposition of furniture after inspection
• Have clear understanding and experience with product assembly
• Utilize proper lifting techniques
• Able to operate radio frequency equipment
• Conducts operations in compliance with OSHA standards
• Maintains a clean work area, free from debris on warehouse floor
• Meet company standards for productivity
