Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for full cycle accounting, including lease accounting under IFRS 16, and will identify and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• Participates in accounting close activities, including preparing journal entries and reviewing supporting files
• Responsible for lease accounting under IFRS 16 utilizing lease accounting software
• Monitors monthly accruals of assigned G/L accounts
• Prepares reconciliations of assigned G/L accounts
• Prepares reports for Manager and/or Finance team when requested
• Adheres to internal controls and drives improvements in assigned processes
• Supports external reporting by completing consolidated financial statements note disclosure schedules
• Liaise with internal and external auditors
