The Senior Quality Engineer will design and build automation test suites, complete exploratory functional and accessibility testing, and develop frameworks for developing test scripts. The role will also involve mentoring junior Engineers and working closely with software engineers to embed quality into delivery.
Requirements
- Strong background using automated testing tools, such as Appium, WebDriverIO, Cucumber, Perfecto, Selenium, Playwright
- Good Quality Engineering and test management experience across the full test lifecycle
- An understanding of the importance of testing and quality, and the ability to support and guide other Quality Engineers
- Ability to work closely with Quality Engineers and software engineers to embed quality into delivery
- Strong understanding of development best practices, and how to apply them to improve testability, quality, and reliability
- An excellent understanding of programming principles and standard methodology, particularly when applied to building maintainable and reliable automated test suites
- Comfortable participating in and facilitating workshops
- Enjoy reviewing colleagues' work and providing feedback to others in a constructive and positive way
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging with business partners
- Experience running automated tests as part of CI/CD pipelines
- Motivated to work with modern Agile practices
