Job Description
Léman Manhattan is seeking an Upper School World Language Spanish Teacher to join its vibrant, collaborative learning community. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s Degree in a related field, a minimum of 3 years Upper School teaching experience, and professional-level fluency in Spanish.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in a related field
- Minimum of 3 years Upper School teaching experience
- IB Language A /B experience preferred
- Professional-level fluency in the target language
- Commitment to the school’s mission, core values, and inclusion statement
- Comprehensive knowledge of curriculum and instruction within the appropriate content area and/or grade level
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- Effective organizational skills
- Ability to monitor student progress and report information in a timely manner
- Ability to manage, delegate and monitor tasks
- Ability to mentor and coach students
- Highly developed collaborative skills
