
Job description
Supplier Quality Engineer will travel ~25% of the time, requiring a STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above and ability to obtain a secret clearance. The role involves understanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Specifications, Contracts, and related Performance Metrics.
The Supplier Quality Engineer will investigate root cause analysis, select and execute corrective/preventative actions, identify and document supplier quality deficiencies, and ensure effective corrective action. They will also focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in disposition of nonconforming products, establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement, and auditing/surveying capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also required.
