Supplier Quality Engineer

Role Overview

Supplier Quality Engineer will travel ~25% of the time, requiring a STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above and ability to obtain a secret clearance. The role involves understanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Specifications, Contracts, and related Performance Metrics.

What You Will Do

The Supplier Quality Engineer will investigate root cause analysis, select and execute corrective/preventative actions, identify and document supplier quality deficiencies, and ensure effective corrective action. They will also focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in disposition of nonconforming products, establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement, and auditing/surveying capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also required.

Requirements

• STEM Degree at the Bachelor level or above
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Specifications, Contracts
• Root cause analysis investigation experience
• Corrective/preventative action selection and execution
• Ability to identify and document supplier's quality deficiencies
• Knowledge and understanding of critical design attributes
• Auditing/surveying capabilities
• Extensive experience in disposition of nonconforming products
• Establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement
• Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications
