This position provides primary care to patients in an acute care setting, including assessment, treatment, and care planning. The RN works with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of RN program from an accredited school of nursing required
- Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required
- BSN degree preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in similar position within a medical setting (eg, acute care, clinic, or other hospital experience) preferred
- Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR and/or BLS certification required as dictated by each service area
- Certifications as applicable to assignment
- Understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to, HIPAA guidelines
- Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and instruments used in an acute care area
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
