RN - Acute Care/Emergency Room

This position provides primary care to patients in an acute care setting, including assessment, treatment, and care planning. The RN works with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of RN program from an accredited school of nursing required
• Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required
• BSN degree preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in similar position within a medical setting (eg, acute care, clinic, or other hospital experience) preferred
• Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR and/or BLS certification required as dictated by each service area
• Certifications as applicable to assignment
• Understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to, HIPAA guidelines
• Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and instruments used in an acute care area
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
• Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
