Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Logicalis is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain core IT infrastructure, provide insights for optimization, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

• Design & implement, and maintain core IT infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualisation, AI, and cloud platforms).
• Provide insights to optimise infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity.
• Assist in troubleshooting and incident response for infrastructure-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure solutions for business projects.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure architecture documentation and standards.
• Ensure compliance & alignment of infrastructure with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (eg RMIT / CAF / NIST / ISO27001).
• Implement and manage robust identity, access, and security controls across infrastructure components.
• Automate infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and management processes using scripting and automation tools or IAC.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
• Collaborate with IT security teams to integrate security measures into infrastructure.
