The Aircraft Mechanic Helper assists Aircraft Mechanics in servicing, repairing, and overhauling aircraft and aircraft engines. They perform routine duties, clean work areas and machines, and document maintenance as per Quality Assurance and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year aircraft related mechanical experience
- Ability to operate power and/or hand tools and equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Shall be a citizen of the U.S.
- Possess computer skills to include basic knowledge sufficient to complete internet searches and prepare/edit documents
- Shall be capable of performing tasks that frequently require lifting, reaching, bending, walking, pulling, sitting, standing, crouching, stooping, kneeling, and stretching for prolonged periods of time
- Shall be capable of carrying items up to 40 pounds
- Ability to use mechanic's tools with minimal supervision
