Case Manager-ED*

The Case Manager-ED at Emergency Department (ED) serves as a key member of the patient care delivery team, utilizing clinical expertise and discretion to assess and manage medical necessity. The role focuses on the needs of the ED patients and their families, collaborating with physicians, staff, and inpatient providers. This position is crucial for ensuring appropriate care and supporting the needs of the patient population in partnership with the ED physicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or Associate's Degree + 6 years of case management experience)
• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Case Management certification preferred
• Minimum three years of bedside nursing in a hospital setting
