Job Description
The Clinical Lab Scientist-Transfusion performs and interprets moderate and high complexity tests, reports results and prepares blood products following standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field
- Minimum three years of experience in high complexity, computerized clinical laboratory as licensed CLS
- Experience with automated Blood Bank testing instruments
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Generalist MTA license
- Specialist in Blood Banking SBB (ASCP) certification
