Medical Transcriptionist-Pathology

This Medical Transcriptionist-Pathology position is responsible for transcribing medical dictation for patient care and ensuring compliance with medical and legal regulations. The role involves handling various types of pathology reports, managing clinical trials, and coordinating slide delivery. Requires strong analytical and communication skills.

Requirements

• Two years of experience as a Pathology Transcriptionist in an accredited acute facility
• Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) or two to five years of experience transcribing Surgical Pathology Reports
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedural aspects of pathology
• Proficiency in computer software (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent dexterity, analytic skills, and ability to operate clerical equipment
