Job Description
The property manager builds and maintains a well-balanced portfolio of properties, marketing property management services, onboarding new accounts, and processing applicants for tenancy.
Requirements
- Cultivate partnerships with local real estate sales offices
- Onboard new accounts, including providing recommendations to owners
- Market rental properties through the Multiple Listing Service
- Process applicants for tenancy after obtaining screening with owner consultation
- Conduct, coordinate and review property surveys/inspections for lease compliance
- Prepare all management leases
- Coordinate and negotiate lease renewals
- Communicate and advise owner in a timely manner of actions and or funds needed to maintain property
- Maintain property files in AppFolio
- Communicate with owners regarding vacancies, leasing activity, applications, new tenants, lease renewals and property legal matters
- Stay informed on maintenance, inspections, and other items that involve the property
