Job Description
We are seeking a candidate with a strong positive attitude toward customer service to act as a Skilled Nursing LVN. The charge nurse provides direct nursing care to residents in a 24 hour operation and delegates and supervises the care provided by nursing assistants.
Requirements
- Licensed Vocational Nurse with a current State of Texas license.
- Must be able to read regulations and write clearly.
- Must be able to communicate in courteous, friendly manner.
- Must be able to evaluate and make decisions in emergency situations such as fire, tornado, and other disasters.
- Must be capable of functioning independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively.
- Posses the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members visitors, governmental agencies/personnel and the general public in all circumstances.
- Must report for duty at the scheduled time
- Ability to effectively manage and direct subordinates.
