Job Description
Lonza is seeking Bioprocess Engineers to join their team in Visp, Switzerland. The ideal candidate will have a relevant background in Life Sciences and a passion for Biotechnology. Key responsibilities include ensuring operational activities are performed on-time and within safety and quality standards, leading preparation, manufacturing execution, cleaning, and changeover in assigned areas, and being responsible for entire processes or process units for clinical and commercial manufacturing projects in therapeutic BioConjugates.
Requirements
- Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related Life Science subject
- Knowledge in either USP (such as bioreactors) or DSP units (such as chromatography)
- Working experience in biomanufacturing
- GMP experience and understanding of bioprocess technology
- Excellent communication skills in English, good German skills advantageous
