Job Description
Product Safety Senior Manager role responsible for supervising and coordinating SAP EHS/S4HANA system activities, ensuring compliance with global chemical and transport regulations. Key responsibilities include hazard classifications, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) authoring, and technical tool management within SAP. This role is pivotal in maintaining data integrity and providing hazard communication to support Lonza’s global operations and marketability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or Pharmaceutical Science
- Master's degree or higher preferred
- 10+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or chemical industry, with at least 5 years in SAP EHS system and data management
- Advanced-level experience with SAP EHS/S4HANA
- Dangerous Goods regulation certification for transport and storage (IATA, ADR, regional authorities)
- Business fluency in English and German
