Job Description
QC Analyst IV - Environmental Monitoring role at Lonza, responsible for leading the Environmental Monitoring team, driving continuous improvement projects, and ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences discipline (Microbiology, Biology, or related field)
- 5–10 years of advanced experience in Quality Control Microbiology or Environmental Monitoring within a cGMP manufacturing environment
- Expert-level knowledge of cleanroom classifications (Grade A–D) and aseptic processing
- Deep understanding of global regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, ICH) for environmental and utility monitoring
- Proficiency in utilizing Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and data trending software
- Leadership Attributes: A proven track record of leading projects, managing timelines, and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Exceptional technical writing skills and the ability to present complex scientific data clearly to senior management and auditors
