Job Description
The Maintenance Technician II will oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery in an industrial laundry facility, performing repairs, installations, and general maintenance for equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, and basic carpentry. This role involves supervisory responsibilities, performance evaluations, and collaboration with management and plant staff. The technician will ensure smooth operations of machinery and ensure equipment performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or similar field.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Maintenance management
- Maintenance planning and scheduling
- Ability to read blueprints and repair manuals.
- Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
