The Industrial Maintenance Technician II - Electrical - 1st Shift is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, industrial heavy machinery, and facility systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills across hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automated systems.
Requirements
- Review, prioritize, and complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, conveyor, and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and repair industrial heavy machinery and production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Operate cranes and hoists for safe handling of heavy equipment and components.
- Accurately document maintenance activities, diagnostics, and PMs in CMMS software.
- Communicate repair status, issues, and recommendations to supervisors and team members.
- Coordinate with other maintenance personnel using handheld radios.
- Assist coworkers with heavy lifting and equipment handling as needed.
- Support training and onboarding of new maintenance employees.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by adopting new maintenance technologies and best practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
