Job Description
Los Angeles Center of Nose Throat and Allergy (LA CENTA) is seeking a motivated and hardworking Medical Assistant to provide support to physicians and their staff in clinic. The role involves patient intake, assisting with procedures, and maintaining office operations. LA CENTA aims to improve the quality of community healthcare in Los Angeles and the community setting.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/ GED
- Graduated from accredited medical assistant program
- Ear Nose Throat & Allergy specialty clinic experience preferred
- Bilingual-fluent in both English and Spanish (preferred)
- General knowledge of HIPAA and CPT codes
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills
- Ability to travel within the various clinics
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Team player with a pleasant attitude
