LAUSD is seeking a School Physical Therapist to support the education of nearly 575,000 students. The role involves using modern methods and techniques in physical therapy, composing and comprehending written communication, and communicating effectively with students, parents, and District personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s degree, or doctorate degree in physical therapy from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
- Current and valid license issued by the Physical Therapy Board of California (PTBC) to practice physical therapy
- Physical and mental fitness to serve as a School Physical Therapist as certified by a licensed physician and surgeon or medical officer
- Valid Driver’s License
- Annual Bloodborne Pathogen training
