Surgical Technology faculty are responsible for conducting assigned formal classroom teaching, consistent with curriculum design and content outcomes, to include didactic, laboratory, and clinic instruction. Academic advising of students, degree transcript tracking, tracking student progress, and retention of students.
Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Surgical Technology and National Board of Surgical Technology/Surgical Assisting (NBSTA) /Certification in Surgical Technology
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Bachelor's degree in Surgical Technology and a National Board of Surgical Technology Certification
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Surgical Technologist
