Job Description
The Adjunct Instructor of Humanities is responsible for developing and instructing course materials in Communication Studies, Foreign Languages, and/or History.
Requirements
- Master's in a related field from a regionally accredited institution
- OR Master's degree in unrelated field plus 18 credit hours in related Humanities field from a regionally accredited institution
- Ph.D. in a related field from a regionally accredited institution (preferred)
- 2 years teaching experience both in-person and on-line (preferred)
- Ability to teach effectively and incorporate a variety of teaching strategies to maximize learning
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with students, faculty, and staff
