Mathematics Tutor (part-time)

LSUE seeks a part-time Mathematics Tutor. The position assists students in mathematics in the mathematics laboratory or Modular Mathematics classroom.

Requirements

• Mathematics or other applicable degree from a regionally accredited academic institution
• Experience working with students at either a high school or higher education institution
• Ability to stand and/or walk for an extended period of time
• Ability to bend from a standing position or sit next to students at desk
• Ability to read a computer screen and comprehend mathematical symbols and comprehend their meaning
• Ability to listen to students' questions and comprehend what is being asked
